5 ATTRACTIVE EXCURSIONS IN SERBIA

1. Excursion “Road to medieval Serbia”:

Departure from Belgrade at 10 a.m. After 1 hour drive, we arrive in old Serbian capital city - Smederevo. In medieval fort (XV century) our guests are welcomed with rulers of that time - despot Đurađ Branković and his wife Jerina and with an escort are touring this ancient town. After that on despot’s command an attractive program begins, in which guests can be only observers or participants! Around 2 p.m. is dinner time in a national restaurant Koliba with a consummation of quality wine and local culinary specialties. After dinner and a short stroll we go back to Belgrade.

2. Excursion “Colors of the nature and artists”:

Departure from Belgrade at 9.30 a.m. After approximately one hour we arrive in the natural reservation Emperor’s Swamp (protected with Ramasar Convention). Two hours cruising with a tourist boat through one of the biggest ornithology stations (settle around 400 bird species) in Europe. During short stroll you will enjoy beautiful nature, and maybe you’ll be the one to solve the riddle: to find a grave of legendary military leader Atila, well known for his nickname “Gods whip”. After this stroll you’ll enjoy dinner in the castle-hotel SIBILA where you’ll be welcomed with music and song of merry musicians. At the return we go to Kovacica village where we’ll visit ethno center BABKA where the world famous Naïve Art Gallery is. You’ll have a possibility to enrich your private collection or to buy some of ethno-souvenirs.We arrive to Belgrade after one hour drive.

3. Excursion “Roads to Serbian culture”:

After one hour and several minutes we arrive to "Serbian Athena" – Novi Sad. A tour through the capital town of Vojvodina follows the rest on Petrovaradin fort, also known as "Gibraltar on Danube". A romantic place, Sremski Karlovci is also called "Serbian Sion". Why it is so you’ll learn after seeing the sights of this little town on Danube. During dinner domestic wines will be poured, wines that were served at European palaces for centuries, and also were part of the wine chart of legendary "Titanic". Music and song of good musicians will be a farewell and an invitation for the next visit of this attractive place. Return to Belgrade.

4. Excursion “ Recognize Serbian spirituality”:

Departure from Belgrade (in front of a hotel) at 9.30 a.m. Arrival to Ravanica monastery (XIV century) foundation of Serbian duke Lazar around 12 a.m. At the foot of the mountains of Kucaj we are touring this monument known for his architecture (so called “Moravska school”) and magnificent frescos. After that we are visiting speleo-attraction Resavska cave called “Resavska beauty” because of the beauty of her cave jewelers. At the exit our guests will experience something really special… Dinner in a pleasing ambient of LISINE motel. It is certain that this dinner will benefit everyone, because on the menu are specialties from this part of Serbia. By visiting impressive Manasija monastery (XV century) foundation of despot Stefan Lazarevic (son of duke Lazar) this trip will be really enriched. This excursion finishes (after 2 hours of driving) in Belgrade at the same place it began.

5. Excursion “Ethno Paradise in ecologically ideal conditions”:

Departure from Belgrade at 09 a.m. We are travelling through colourful area of Šumadija and arriving to Koštunići around 12 a.m. Here, in peace of Takovska area at green hillsides of Suvobor mountain lies a real ethno – oasis. Kind Serbian hosts will introduce our guests with old Serbian crafts, assorted national skills and output of ''healthy'' food. After dinner in national restaurant ''Ravna Gora'' you'll attend an art programme – local amateurs will show you music and folklore of Serbia with a wish that some of their skills convey to you. In dusk of the day we are going back to Belgrade where we arrive in evening hours.
